Neri Racing in Auburndale Season Opener

Picked up the W last night at Citrus County Speedway for the 50 lap season opener. Had a really quick car Friday night in practice. Unloaded Saturday morning and blew an oil line as soon as we pulled on track. Everyone went to work to get if fixed to make a few practice laps before qualifying. Nick Manfull gave me a hot rod and we missed pole by a few hundredths. After the invert we started the main 8th and just kept our nose clean until we took the lead around lap 25. Built a pretty good lead and just maintained until caution came out with 3 to go. Was racing hard with the 03 coming to 2 to go, he held me down like anyone would of going for the win. I got the rumble strips, got loose and had to chase it up the track. I was able to hold onto it and bring it home 1st. Gotta thank the whole crew, Nick, Mike, and Jay.
